Ancient Artifacts & Antiquities in Florida

Periodically, John gives an informative yet informal talk about various topics geared toward youth, yet enjoyed by all. This fondness for sharing his knowledge has benefited the Central Florida public school system for more than 35 years where he continues to present hands-on talks to grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. These talks include such topics as Fossils, Rocks & Minerals, Dinosaurs, Crystals, Rocks, Minerals & Fossils of Florida and Ancient Roman Money. John works with the Boy and Girl Scouts working on the Geology and Coin Collecting Merit Badges (and belt loops and pins). He has also presented talks to a number of mineral, fossil and coin clubs.

John’s associations include membership in the American Numismatic Association (ANA) since 1979, membership in FUN (Florida United Numismatists), membership in CFCC (Central Florida Coin Club), membership in the Blue Ridge Numismatic Association, membership in Authentic Artifact Collectors Association (AACA), listed in Marquis’ Who’s Who since 2000 as well as Marquis’ Who’s Who in Science and Engineering since 1992.
