The faience figure of Duamutef, Son of Horus, from the 25th Dynasty (c. 744–656 BCE) is a small Egyptian statue used in funerary practices. Duamutef, shown with a jackal head, protected the stomach of the deceased and helped ensure a safe journey to the afterlife. Made of bright blue or green faience, the figure symbolized rebirth and protection. Created during the Nubian-led 25th Dynasty, it reflects traditional Egyptian religious art and craftsmanship, serving both a spiritual and protective purpose in tombs.
