These organisms lived in a warm, shallow sea during the Middle Cretaceous period, around 160 million years ago. The shrimp fossils display clear body segments, antennae, and legs, thanks to the exceptional preservation of the rock. The nearby fish fossil adds context, showing the rich marine life that once existed in this ancient ocean environment.
