Description
Fossil Leaves 300 Million years old. White Fossil Pecopteris leaves in black shale from the Pennsylvanian Epoch in the Carboniferous period. The shale matrix measures 275mm by 150mm (11 in x 6 in) and is covered with several different kinds of leaves on both sides with other leaves in the layers in between.
